    We are looking for a Creative Technologist who will work with our design, lab and project teams to build useful and beautiful digital products that end users will love.

    I am a creative coder. I write algorithms and build digital products that are useful and beautiful.

    Day in the lab:

    • Meet up with our team of creative experts that build useful and beautiful digital products that the end user will love.
    • Have some jokes with Amazon Alexa, Google Home or Microsoft Cortana.
    • Write awesome clean code that boosts interactivity of our products.
    • Try-out the latest hardware ranging between Augmented, Virtual, Mixed Reality, Sensors and Robotics.
    • Setup your beamer and display your work to people that are visiting the lab.
    • Share your knowledge with our lab team to continuously increase our code knowledge, tools and processes.


    Responsibilities:

    • Select the best development approach for each track based on desired user experience, flexibility, time and budget.
    • Build and test. Fail fast. Iterate. You will help the product to grow step by step.
    • Work together with the Innovation Lead in order to maintain a relevant lab portfolio.
    • Stays educated on latest trends and practices across state of the art software development.


    Requirements:

    • Work within short cycles to create a working prototype that can be tested and demonstrated towards the client.
    • Work with a future vision on how to iterate from prototype towards a shippable product.
    • You live and breathe Python, Javascript and Node.JS
    • Knowledge using Apache Hadoop / Spark
    • Understanding of back-end environments and familiarity with API’s and SDK’s.
    • If you have native iOS (Swift) or Android (Java) experience, that’s a big plus.
    • Experience with build and design voice interfaces (ie. Amazon Alexa) is a plus.
    • Experience with Atypical input (ie. touch, voice, ambient, gesture) is a plus.
    • Able to express yourself extremely well in English (both writing and speaking).

      JUNIOR INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER.

      Orange BOB is the innovation partner for global brands to engage their end-users and employees with excellent performing mobile and creative technology that matters.

      As an Junior Infrastructure Engineer / DevOps you are responsible for assisting in implementing infrastructure for delivering and running software services. Essential mission will be to ensure that our platform and infrastructure are always available, scalable, fast and engineered to withstand the unpredictable demands of mobile applications. This involves hands-on involvement in building deployment and testing pipelines, automated provisioning of cloud infrastructure, and infrastructure support services such as monitoring. Watching out for performance bottlenecks and scaling pitfalls are all within the realms of an Infrastructure Engineer.

      What does the Junior Infrastructure Engineer do at Orange BOB?

      Engineering:

      • Linux server administration;
      • Maintenance of LAMP environments;
      • Assist in building Cloud Scalable, Reliable, Highly Available and GeoDistributed infrastructure including data storage (RDBMS and NOSQL);
      • Build tools and processes around CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Travis-CI, GoCD);

      Testing:

      • Perform Lab testing of major software updates and new hardware components;
      • Perform end to end testing of engineered solutions before the implementation takes place;
      • Benchmark / stress test servers & cloud solutions.

      The following experience is relevant to us:

      • Experience working with server virtualisation (VMWare, docker), IaaS and PaaS cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.);
      • Scripting and programming languages (Bash, Python, Perl, etc.);
      • Administering and tuning application servers, web servers, and databases (Apache, Nginx, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.);
      • Infrastructure provisioning tools (such as Docker, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Terraform);
      • Experience with continuous integration tools (Jenkins, Travis-CI, Bamboo);
